The ATR29 Desktop Smart Card Reader manufactured by Atlantis Infotech is the only card reader that is 100% domestically produced in terms of both hardware and software. ATR29 is a compact USB device that offers dynamic smart card functionality to the user. With ATR29, you can use financial seal or e-signature certificate types for e-invoice, e-government and central registration system entries.

Two-Factor Authentication

The ATR29 combines smart card security with USB convenience to deliver the following benefits:

Advanced protection is enabled by two factor authentication: something users have–the device, and something they know–their PIN.

Secure logical access control services can be used with any system with a USB connection. Support for all major desktop operating systems available.

Windows, Mac OS and Linux standard USB specifications mean the device works with virtually any network connection.

Users can simply insert the ATR29 into a USB port and enter their PIN to access onboard security applications.

ATR29 has strong authentication based on two factors: the token itself and a PIN, providing an extra level of security for the most sensitive applications. The PIN ensures the holder of the device is its legitimate owner. The device offers all the power of a multi-application smart card in a desktop form factor, making it an ideal solution for organizations that require a combination of security, portability, robustness and convenience .

The Desktop Smart Card Reader is designed for secure communication with smartcards containing cryptographic keys and certificates, strong authentication, encryption, and digital signature of email and data. It also supports non-repudiation, a crucial feature for proof of financial transactions.
